365 in 17

This time of year you often see many articles/blogposts that that provide an uplift as we enter the new year.  Many of them speak of New Years Resolutions  while others provide you the recipe for a great year.  I too have written such articles but…

I’d like to do something different this year.  Instead of focusing on what we can do for ourselves, I’d like to focus on what we can do for others.  My mind has been spinning for weeks about this, and finally today it hit me.

I’d like you all to take the 365in17 challenge.  It’s a simple challenge that will yield a better you, and ultimately a better everyone.  All you have to do is…do something nice for someone each day in 2017.  That is 365 nice things minimum!  By all means go above and beyond, but be sure to do something nice and unexpected each and every day for someone.

Doing something nice will not only lift you up, but also the person you are helping.  Now think about this for a second.  What if we could get a million people to take this challenge?  What an amazing impact this could create.

So are you with me?  Please share this post so we can get this party started.  A new hashtag has risen #365in17.  Use it and use it often.  Tweet to365in17 the world. Share your nice gesture.  Don’t just read this and say to yourself “cool idea,” or “ahh just another challenge.” Let’s be the change that we want to see in the world. Let’s make it habit to “want to help someone.” Hit one of the buttons below to share this post.

2017 is the year for helping others and by doing so you will be helping yourself.  No time to waste.  The challenge begins 1-1-17.  Go practice for the next few days so you have it down.

Have a fabulous 2017 everyone!
